| Tia was purchased from the Royal Welsh sales in October 2007 from Mr Evans of Cathedine stud, her impeccable breeding is evident with the best of Menai and Synod breeding and being by the incredible Menia Lord Charles a prolific show winner virtually unbeaten as a two year old winning eleven first prizes at twelve shows including The Royal and Royal Welsh and with several young stock Championships to his credit, also ridden Supreme champion at the Royal Welsh in 2005, and numerous other wins including Champion in-hand and under saddle at the Devon County show, 1st and reserve champion at the Anglsey show and 2nd at Lampeter stallion show. Her dam also a prolific show winner Telynau Cantores with a number of wins. Tia’s temperament, strong limbs and shape give us hope she will be an ideal resident broodmare; she has had a cracking bay colt sired by Bodwenarth Romeo, who is destined for the show ring with his look at me attitude and lovely markings! |
